Hinckson to make another court appearance today
EX-GUYANA Defence Force (GDF) Lieutenant Oliver Hinckson will be making another appearance in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court today after he was further remanded to prison when he appeared on the last occasion.

The Guyana Humn Rights Association (GHRA) like the People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR) seems convinced that the charges against Oliver Hinckson should be withdrawn. Their reasoning is that this should be done in the “national interest.”
Hinckson charged with sedition, Massay for possessing Army kit
EX-ARMY Guyana Defence Force (GDF) Lieutenant Oliver Hinckson has been charged with the capital offence of sedition.
The 64-year-old veteran, of Lot 167 Meadow Brook Gardens, Georgetown, also faced a charge of advocating the commission of a terrorist act when he appeared before Principal Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle yesterday.
