Grocery owner on rice larceny charge
GROCERY owner, 33-year-old Wajeed Hassan (no address given) appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle yesterday on a larceny charge.
It is alleged that, last October 2, he stole 25 bags of white rice, valued $155,000, property of Avway Enterprise Rice Company.
