Five men yesterday pleaded not guilty to a charge of larceny when they appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle.

It is alleged that on October 7, Zaheer Hussain, Shawn Setman, Subindra Samaroo, Steve Singh and Alexie Gomes had it their possession items that were suspected to be stolen.

Their lawyer made an application for reasonable bail to be granted, since all the items were recovered.

They were each granted $20,000 bail and will return to Court 2 on November 14, 2008.
