Government applauded for establishment of Parika packaging plant

I wish to commend the government for its establishment of a new agro-packaging facility which would impact greatly on production and exportation of products. I have outlined some of the benefits of this facility:

It would encourage farmers to have their produce cleaned and prepared for local, regional and international markets.

1. It would encourage farmers to export more goods though the packaging facility.

2. It would be easily accessible to Parika farmers

3. It would eliminate the cost of transportation to the Sophia Packaging facility to have produce prepared for exportation.

4. Soon a wharf would be built behind the facility to make it more accessible by vessels at sea which would be exporting agricultural produce.

5. It is free of cost to farmers.

These reasons highlight government’s commitment to the agricultural industry. The Skeldon Sugar Modernisation Project I am sure will also be a success. I do think the government is moving in the right direction by building such facilities since these help to propel a country’s development.
