COMMODORE Gray Best and his five-member delegation concluded their six-day visit to the People’s Republic of China today. Members of the Delegation include Mrs. Delina Best, Major Trevor Bowman, Captain Lorraine Garraway, Lieutenant (Coast Guard) Ron Charles and Lieutenant Ricardo Singh.

The main purpose of the visit was for the two sides to have friendly exchanges on defense policies and armed forces development. During the visit, Commodore Best and his team paid a courtesy call on His Excellency, General Liang Guanglie, Minister of National Defense of China and had friendly consultations with General Chen Bingde, Chief of General Staff of the People’s Liberation Army. The delegation also visited a number of army, naval and air force units in Changchun, Hangzhou and Shanghai cities.
