TWO porters, jointly charged with break and enter and larceny, were each granted $25,000 bail after pleading not guilty before Principal Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle yesterday.

Anthony Corius, 50, of Lot 288 East Ruimveldt and Mark Singh, 33, of Lot 158 Third Street, Alexander Village, both in Georgetown, are alleged to have broken into the storeroom of Andrew Jacobs and stole three plastic barrels, valued $20,000 last May 18.

Their case was transferred to another Court for July 16.

Floyd Neville, 36, of Lot 2 Samantha Point, Grove, East Bank Demerara, was put on $35,000 bail by the same magistrate, after he denied two larceny charges.

The allegations against him are that, on May 15, he stole a quality of metal clamps and other articles, valued a total of $76,000, property of Caribbean Resources Limited and, on June 5, he stole five pieces of electrical cable worth $6,500, belonging to Guyana National Industrial Company Inc.

Those cases, too, were transferred to a different Court for July 21.
