Opposition petition to CARICOM
PNCR and the other opposition parties do not have to send their petition letter to CARICOM.
Stabroek News already let it out the bag for them with their “wants”.
They want CARICOM to tell the Guyana Government to put Sharma back on the airwaves.
They want CARICOM to tell the Guyana Government to increase civil servants wages.
They want CARICOM to tell the Guyana Government to let them march and protest on Regent Street.
They want CARICOM to tell the Guyana Government to share Government powers with them.
They want CARICOM to tell Guyana Government to give them full access to State Media.
They want CARICOM to tell the Guyana Government to respect the fundamental rights of its citizens.
They want CARICOM to interfere in the Judicial System in Guyana to drop sedition charges against Oliver Hinckson.
Now it’s my turn to tell CARICOM what the majority of Guyanese people and I want.
CARICOM must tell them that no one must be allow to go on the air waves and threaten the life of the President.
CARICOM must tell them that Government only has a limited amount of resources to pay civil servants accordingly.
CARICOM must tell them and civil servants that if that is not enough then they can quit and go and get higher paying jobs elsewhere.
CARICOM must tell them to hire them and pay them more.
CARICOM must tell them that they cannot keep on terrorizing citizens by wanting to march through Regent Street to burn, loot, beat and rape.
CARICOM must tell them that the Guyana Judicial System will either find Oliver Hinckson guilty as charged or not guilty.
CARICOM must tell them that the Guyana Government is an inclusive Government which is shared by all of its people and including all opposition parties.
CARICOM must tell them to make their debating point in Guyana’s parliament and not on the streets or to CARICOM.
CARICOM must tell them to root out the criminal elements they are shielding in Buxton and Agricola and elsewhere.
CARICOM must tell them not to trample on the rights of innocent, law abiding citizens of Guyana who have fundamental rights more than criminals.
This must be the only say CARICOM Nations must have in Guyana’s affairs, period.
