Even with the British presence in Guyana the slo’ fyah, mo fyah campaign is causing channa bombs to be lobbed at the Ministry of Culture (probably to support the call to boycott the CARIFESTA by making it unmanageable), and gunmen are still conducting terror campaign obviously aimed at bringing down the Democratically elected PPP Government.

RANDOM EXECUTIONS are the order of the day in Guyana. But these gunmen and their cohorts, better believe that the British WILL NOT STAND for their nonsense. You do not want to mess around with the British. They put down a campaign of terror by the IRA by using The SAS and they will not tolerate a terrorist/s agenda in Guyana when their personnel are on the ground as this will/may send the wrong message to those that may seek to create terror in other countries.

I believe that we should also engage the Canadians to send their Mounted Police to Guyana to work with our local police officers. There are quite a few Guyanese who reside in Canada and they may be helpful as well as they may be able to form Security Services (Guards) with their relatives in Guyana to help maintain a peaceful and progressive Guyana.
