I would like to thank T. King for his letter captioned, “PNCR is a terrorist group”.

The writer is indeed very honest, objective, fearless and clearly knows our history and politics.

I myself have tried to write about the “terrorist” group in Guyana but alas, I admit, I feared for my safety.

The marginalization claims by the PNCR is just a pretext that they use to incite the less enlightened. Like our colonial masters did, the PNCR is doing its best to keep people ignorant of the truth and using that to exploit them. This is not a political party – not in the true sense.

My heartfelt thanks to T. King for saying what needed to be said.

I would like to add that, going forward, all Guyanese, including the government, should regard the PNCR as IRRELEVANT, as far a political parties are concerned. There should be no comment, response or other form of recognition of anything they do or say. The only entities that need to pay attention to the PNCR are the law and security forces.
