Carol Ann Lynch back in Court
BEAUTY Queen Carol Ann Lynch, recently freed of the charge that she murdered her Swiss House Cambio boss husband, Farouk Razac, was back in Court yesterday, for the case in which the two were jointly charged for illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.
The 35-year-old woman, of Lot 106 Ireng Place, Bel Air Park, Georgetown, is alleged to have had a gun and ammunition without licences for them and faces the prosecution alone, now that the co-defendant is dead and the charges against him have been withdrawn.
Particulars of the offences said, on November 10, 2006, at her home, Lynch had a ‘Beretta’ automatic pistol, four 9mm magazines and 120 rounds of 9mm ammunition without lawful authority.
Police Inspector Robert Tyndall, prosecuting, called Sergeant Cassandra Anthony, from Criminal Investigations (CID) Department Headquarters, to testify and she said she was present when the gun and bullets were found at the defendant’s house.
The witness was cross-examined by Defence Counsel Roger Yearwood and the proceedings were adjourned to June 5.
