Freddie Kissoon seems to have gone wild in his imaginations.
IN his latest column, Mr. Kissoon claims that he has a Masters degree in Guyanese history.
While I do not doubt that Mr. Kissoon holds a Masters degree, it is certainly not a Masters in Guyanese history. I kindly ask Mr. Kissoon to tell the public at which University did he obtain his Masters in Guyanese history. I do not believe that any University was offering a postgraduate programme in Guyanese history at the time when Mr. Kissoon was fortunate to have acquired his certificate.
To my knowledge, it was after 1988, when there was a huge celebration for the 150th anniversary of East Indians arriving in the Caribbean that certain universities started an undergraduate programme in Indo-Caribbean history, not Guyanese history.
He is certainly infatuated with himself and his overblown ego. He seems to be very dissatisfied in his non-achievements.
