Accident could have been avoided

My view is that the recent fatal accident at Bee Hive on the East Coast Demerara could have been avoided, if systems were in place to round up stray animals on the country’s roadways.

If this happens then I think the owners of animals will have to provide ways of keeping their cattle.

I had a close encounter last year while I was visiting Guyana. Had it not been for the diligence of the driver of our vehicle, there would certainly be a fatal accident, all because of a cow.

I think something must be done quickly about this problem so we could avoid deaths on the roads.
