Despite his claims to the contrary, Freddie Kissoon is no patriot. At least not a patriot to Guyana. It appears as though he looks at movies and imagines in his shallow mind that he is like the hero of those movies, e.g. The Patriot, starring Mel Gibson.

I happen to know that Mr. Kissoon tried very hard to remain in Canada after his studies. When he was unsuccessful, he went to Grenada directly from Canada. He did not return to his homeland.

When the Bishop government fell after the U.S. invasion of Grenada, Kissoon had no choice but to return to Guyana. Then he started making trouble and bragging that he is this loyal Guyanese. This country was better off with him being abroad, in my humble opinion.

I challenge Mr. Kissoon to deny the above in his daily column.
