Let us live by the truth

WE note denials and statements being made relating to that 1 ½ hour meeting with Messrs Oliver Hinckson and Anil Nandalall, MP , Executive member of the Peoples Progress Party.

As one who experienced the prevarication of certain highly placed ‘gentlemen’, I plead that these two persons among others subject themselves to a lie detector test post haste.

In relation to the events that took place at Eve Leary during my visit, I am prepared to subject myself to this test and that the CID officers also subject themselves to this test.

The equipment and the expertise can be readily made available to the Government.

I plead; let us live with and only by the truth.

The public must neither be left confused, or uncertain about what is taking place in our beloved country.

The time is ripe for all involvement to be subject to the sternest of tests. This will help to emancipate us from the well-oiled propaganda machinery, and the not so subtle bullyism now evident in Guyana.

Only the truth and honesty can help us all to heal and therefore repair the torn fabric of our society.
HAMILTON GREEN, J.P Mayor
