Accused remanded, robbery case transferred

TREVOR Adams was yesterday remanded to prison, by Magistrate Hazel Octave-Hamilton, on a robbery under arms charge.

The 19-year-old accused, of Jacklow, Pomeroon, is charged indictably with having, on March 25 at Big Hope, North West District, robbed Lennox Prince, at knifepoint, of two ounces of gold valued $463,000, property of Fereuse Basir.

The case has been transferred to Mabaruma Court, also in North West District, for May 20.
