Travelspan outlines its future plans
TRAVELSPAN has announced that a new agreement with North American Airlines will take effect in June for the Summer peak season.
A release said the relationship between the two, dates back more than a decade and, most recently, in 2005 and 2006, North American operated its B757 for Travelspan flights.
North American will operate its B757 for Travelspan, again, with flights to Guyana, Trinidad and Fort Lauderdale, effective June 24, the release said.
In the interim, Travelspan said, due to rising fuel costs and operational conditions, it will amend its scheduled services to Trinidad, New York, Fort Lauderdale and Georgetown.
As a result, Travelspan has elected to suspend flying from this month through June 23 and would resume with its new North American contract the next day, the release explained.
It said all passengers booked with Travelspan will be protected on North American and other scheduled services or offered a full refund on the unused portion of their tickets.
Travelspan offices will continue selling other scheduled airline tickets, such as Delta, in addition to its service with North American, for the Summer peak months, the statement said.
It directed enquiries to telephone numbers 592-227-1701, 592-337-5200 or the toll free number 1-866-424-8446.
Travelspan sincerely apologised to its valued travel partners and customers for any inconvenience caused.
