POLICE are investigating reports that three juveniles were dragged away from a Mash Camp in Garnett Street, Newtown, Georgetown, on Wednesday night, stripped of their clothing, beaten and tortured.

The injured boys were victims of a gang number between 11 and 13, with ages ranging from 17 to 25 years-old.

The brutalised trio had been blamed for the disappearance of a cellular phone from the place where arrangements are being made for participation in Mashramani celebrations.

The owner of the missing instrument reportedly aided in taking the fingered lads to a ‘long yard’ where the beating took place.

Parents of two of the three made reports to the Police and accompanied them to Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) for treatment Thursday.

The lads claimed they were also burnt with cigarettes, cuffed about the body and lashed on the feet with a piece of wood.
