Stabroek News suffering from acute ‘Roheetitis’

Posted by : Guyana Chronicle

IT seems that the Stabroek News really is suffering from acute ‘Roheetitis’ as they try again to review the security sector’s performance in 2007.

I read the newspaper reports when Minister Rohee did a comprehensive review of the sector and the picture Stabroek news is painting is certainly not a fair comment.

The Minister also outlined long-term programmes that will help in the fight against crime. Despite the challenges, the Police have recorded a reduction in crime and this is very positive.

Guyana and many countries are affected by crime but it is reassuring to know that our government has not taken a laid-back approach.

So this newspaper needs to seek some medical help to cure its ‘Roheetitis’.
