Minister Persaud meeting Pomeroon flood-hit farmers today

MINISTER of Agriculture, Mr. Robert Persaud, and a high level delegation are scheduled to visit upper and lower Pomeroon today.

A release from the Regional Administration of Region Two (Pomeroon/Supenaam) said they will meet with farmers at Little Try Best in lower Pomeroon and Kaikaburi Creek in upper Pomeroon.

Farms in those areas were flooded during the recent heavy rainfall and the farmers had suffered great losses of their crops.
