Kaieteur News supports smuggling?

Posted by : Guyana Chronicle

I have observed that the Kaieteur News of Monday, January 21 - in its editorial, referred to the current situation involving the GRA and a business which filed an injunction against the GRA, blocking it from seizing goods which were allegedly smuggled.

After reading the editorial, I am of the view that the newspaper is not in favour with the decision of the Judge involved in the case. So I am wondering how is it that some persons were creating a big furor when the President of Guyana commented on the ruling of a Judge recently. I am waiting to see who will speak out against the newspaper for expressing its view on the Judge’s decision in this case.
