THREE bandits, armed with cutlasses and a handgun, robbed Chinese businessman, Ruide Zhou, on Republic Avenue, Mackenzie, Linden, last Monday night.

The trio took away his motor vehicle, a laptop computer and $50,000, Police reported yesterday.

The report said it happened about 23:45 h after the victim had closed his restaurant and was outside cleaning his silver grey Rav 4, number PJJ 5463.

The robbers demanded that he reopen the eating place before stealing his property and escaping in his automobile, Police said.
