LEADER of the Opposition and People’s National Congress Reform, Robert Corbin, has extended congratulations to the Democratic Labour Party of Barbados on their resounding election victory.

“On behalf of the People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR) and on my own behalf and that of my executive, I offer you and the Democratic Labour Party (DLP) congratulations on your important victory at the recent elections held in Barbados,” the message said.

It added: “Your landslide victory at the polls is a reflection of the fact that your message of hope and change has been accepted by the people of Barbados and that they believe that you and the Democratic Labour Party (DLP) are best qualified at this moment in time to lead the people of Barbados.”

The message also stated that the PNCR has enjoyed a close association with the DLP for a considerable period of time and looks forward to future exchanges and to working with it to strengthen ties and to promote the regional integration movement.
