Three carnal knowledge accused refused bail
THREE men, all charged separately with indictable carnal knowledge offences, were refused bail yesterday by Principal Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle.
One of the accused, Shawn Phipps, 36, of Lot 68 Cummings Street, Bourda, is alleged to have committed the crime, between July 31 and September 1 last, at Bent and John Streets, also in Georgetown.

JAMAICAN Zackre Ameago Montaque was yesterday jailed for three years on conviction for drug trafficking.
Before Principal Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle, the prisoner, 26, of St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, pleaded guilty to having trafficked 250 grammes of cocaine on Christmas Day at Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA), Timehri.
