Totalitarian and the banality of Freddie Kissoon
Freddie does not really understand how power works.
Power, Freddie, is of absolutely no real intrinsic ‘value’ unless it is demonstrated. That is, you need a ‘subject’, and, you need ‘observers’.
As an example, America tells the rest of the World that it is powerful by attacking Iraq (a country that was hardly going to be a real significant threat to America ).
The subject, to powerful people, is of no value. It is the observers that the person in power tells that ‘he/she is powerful’.
To counteract powerful people is not a simple case as turning up at rallies, or, standing with ‘tight lips’ on the sidelines.
‘Powerful’ people do not attend your rallies. Nor are they necessarily at the helm of a ship. Hitler, Freddie, was just one man. He could not have gotten where he did unless the rich and ‘powerful’ vouched for him. Do you understand that Hitler tried to bring down the power of God by attacking the Jews?
You can only feel the effects of power.
In today’s world power is applied. It is the stab in the back applied with a ‘kindly’ smile. It is a prison without walls (did you think that a prison needs walls……how interesting?).
Guantanamo is a power system. Basically, the ‘powerful’ Americans have imprisoned suspected ‘Taliban fighters’ who were caught on the battlefield. These Taliban fighters are of no real use to the Americans. They are just using them to demonstrate to the other people around the world where there is American presence that IF they fought against the Americans this is what is going to happen to them. GET IT?
There is only one Totalitarian State that the present world has known. And, it does not stand for evil. The Vatican is that State.
Do you understand that rich and powerful people are using your mind against yourself to get your ‘acceptance’ that Totalitarian States are an evil on this Earth? Hence, they are using you to condemn the Vatican for its stance against evil.
Are you seriously going to tell rich people that to get to heaven they must give up their worldly possessions? One man did and he was crucified for it.
Evil, Freddie, gains a foothold because it attacks the heart. That is, it uses peoples’ suffering to propagate itself. A bit like The Emperor attacking Young Darth Vader’s mother to anger Darth Vader and cause him to suffer.
On one hand, Freddie, you would condemn the President for not intervening to get you your ‘car’ (if he did intervene do you know what that means?). Then, you would condemn him when/if he does intervene to prevent UG from being used as a political football.
President Burnham did not really understand how power and powerful people worked. He thought that because he was educated that he knew how to get what he wanted from The East and The West.
