Cabinet outreach resumes next week - Head of the Presidential Secretariat, Dr. Roger Luncheon

The outreach programme which Cabinet embarked on around mid-year will recommence on November 16 in Region Six ( East Berbice/Corentyne), according to Head of the Presidential Secretariat, Dr. Roger Luncheon.Visits to the Hinterland regions will commence on November 24, and to Regions Two (Pomeroon/Supenaam), Three (West Demerara/Essequibo Islands), Four (Demerara/Mahaica), Five( Mahaica/Berbice), Seven (Cuyuni/Mazaruni), and 10 (Upper Demerara/Berbice) before the end of the year, the HPS told a post-Cabinet briefing.

The outreaches, “highlight aspects of the PPP/C Administration’s policies and programmes and to address the suggested ways of promoting Government’s effectiveness.”

During the community visits, emphasis is placed on developments in the social and financial /economic sectors, physical infrastructure, utility services and housing.
