A BRILLIANT piece of individual skills by Rolex Fraser, four minutes from the end, provided Santos with a 1-0 victory over Alpha United in the opening fixture of the GFA/Supligen U-20 league.

Fraser first wrong-footed two defenders, then eluded sweeper back Ronson Williams, inside the ‘D’, before placing a right-booter low to goalkeeper Ron Liverpool’s right for the game’s decisive strike.

The group ‘A’ match-up lacked cohesion and was disjointed for the greater part, until Santos exploded in the 75th minute with a succession of close to twenty untouched passes. Thereafter, the all-white unit went on the attack in pursuit of the winner which came in spectacular fashion.
