Paul Bobb nets first helmet-trick of ‘Chow’ Sealey indoor schools football

PAUL Bobb produced the first helmet-trick of the seventh Edwin ‘Chow’ Sealey schools indoor football tournament being staged at the National Gymnasium.
In yesterday’s group ‘D’ fixture Bobb piloted the defending champions to a 7-0 hammering of Houston CHS. Devon Smith supported with a treble to complete the rout which pushed the cup holders to two wins from as many games.
The other match in the group resulted in a goal-less draw between St George’s High and Mercy Wings while former champions, Sophia Special School, carved out a hard-fought 3-2 win over East Ruimveldt Secondary.
Spearheading the victory was Sherwin Miller with a double and Osafa Johnson with the other. Marlon Johnson scored a double in a losing cause.
In group ‘B’ play, Jermain Sutton struck a brace against Imperial College to give Carmel CHS their second win in as many matches.
The other game which featured Richard Ishmael Secondary and Covent Garden Secondary ended in a 0-0 stalemate.
