Is eating meat God or man’s law?

Most people in the world use meat as food.I have read some of the literatures from all religion and I cannot come to any conclusion where it says that man can consume meat for food.

Hindu religion on the whole forbids the killing of animals while Muslim and Christian see no harm in that.I for one see a misinterpretation of God’s words

According to the bible, one of the commandments given to Moses is that THOU SHALL NOT KILL.

In Genesis 2/16 God said to Adam ‘you are free to eat from any tree in the garden, but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil for when you eat from it you will surely die.

In the Quran 2/35- O Adam you and your wife dwell in the garden and eat of the bountiful thing therein as (when and where) but do not approach this tree or you run into harm and transgression.

This was in the beginning and there is no way where the Lord said that Adam can kill and eat

When John the Baptist on his first visit to Jerusalem to witness the great feast was astonished as to what he saw.

He said he could not understand how sin could be forgiven by killing animals and birds and burning them before the Lord.(ag13/12.

Jesus the Christ said the same thing when he went to Jerusalem for the first time to see the great feast.

Ag18/2 Jesus watch the butcher kill the lamb and bird and burn them on the altar in the name of God.

His tender heart was shocked at this display of cruelty. He asks the serving priest what is the purpose of this slaughter of the beast and bird? Why do you burn their flesh before the Lord?

Jesus said “will you be kind enough to tell me when God proclaimed that sins are blotted out by sacrifice of any kind.”

“Did not David say that that God requires not a sacrifice for sin, that it is sin itself to bring burnt offering before his face.”

“Did not Isaiah say the same?”

And to Rabboni (the priest) he said “I thought the temple was the house of God where love and kindness dwell.”

“Do you not hear the bleating of that lamb and the pleading of those doves that men are killing over there? Do you not smell the awful stench that comes from burning flesh?

“A God that takes delight in sacrifices in blood and burning flesh is not my father God.

The Quran 6/38 states that there is not an animal that moves about in the earth nor a being that flies on two wings, but are communities like you. We have not left out anything in the book. Then to their Lord they shall be gathered together

The Holy Prophet (peace be on him) said

1.If Allah forgives you the way you treat animal, he will have forgiven you a great deal.

2.He who even kills a sparrow needlessly is accountable to Allah on the day of judgment

3.Be mindful of your duty to Allah in the matter of your dumb beast; ride them when they are in good condition and slaughter them for meat when they are in good condition.

4.Allah has prescribe kindliness towards all creatures; when you must kill, adopt the best method and when you slaughter an animal do it mercifully, sharpen the knife and reduce its suffering.

5.Do not slaughter a she-goat which yields milk.

In the quotation from the Quran 6/38 there is no way where Allah says man can kill animal.

It is the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) who said that man can kill animals.

According to the Quran when Moses came down from the mountain the people ask him what colour of cow Allah said we can eat.

According to Abdullah Yusuf Ali translation of the Quran into English he said a fawn coloured heifer pure and rich in tone, the admiration of beholders.

According to N.J Dawood translation he said “let the cow be yellow a rich yellow pleasing to the eye.”

As we know there is no yellow or fawn cow

How can we show kindness to animals by slaughtering them?

How is it that we can kill a heifer (she cow) that gives milk and cannot kill a she goat that gives milk?

If there is no yellow or fawn cow do we still kill?

The Holy Bible 9/2:5 and the fear upon you and the dread upon you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, up on all that moveth up on the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hands are they delivered.

Everything moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you. Even as the green herbs I have given you all things.

But flesh with the life thereof which is the blood thereof you shall not eat.

Here God was talking to the animals and not man.

God did not create man to eat meat because it is harmful to the body

It is not possible to forgive sins without the shedding of blood. By slaughtering an innocent lamb, Jewish God covers the nakedness of man. This is a prophecy (the testimony of Jesus Christ is the Spirit of prophecy. Rev), showing how God would give his innocent Son to save us from sin. God commanded the slaughter of innocent animals not without a purpose: but to lead lost man to the salvation that is in Jesus Christ the type of all innocent animals.

Peace be upon this house.

whose ever law it may be-what does your heart and mind say?- slaughtering is dreadfully horrible-i have seen it since childhood- meat or fish or any living creature smells bad-it starts decaying immediately after the slaughter or death- only spices and condiments gives the flavour to otherwise dead and decaying meats- throw a handful of vegetable or seed on the ground and also throw a handful of dead meat on the ground- in a few days the veg/seed will sprout into a beautiful plant while the meat will rot and give you maggots - eating meat does not need any law it is a disease- people will go to any length to convince you that eating meat is right- i keep a watch on them - they have aged faster, suffer from liver, skin and bone diseases- yet they refuse to believe that meat is the cause- believe me!-vegetarians have the last laugh.
