Questions after Khan bust
NOW that Roger Khan has been caught in a drug bust in Suriname, there are a number of questions which we should speculate on.

1) Will his supporters in Guyana still claim that his wealth is not related to narco trafficking?

2) Will the Government of Guyana demonstrate its commitment to fight narco crime by moving swiftly to seize or at least freeze his assets?

3) Will his supporters still protest his innocence, victimhood and unjustified pursuit by the Joint Services operations in a bold, brazen attempt to save face or will they hang their heads in shame now that he is caught?

4) Will Roger Khan’s defenders claim that the capture of Khan in Suriname was a plot by the PNC, USA, GPF and maybe the Dutch governments of Netherlands and Suriname to destabilise the PPP/C government?

5) If Roger Khan and clique were caught by the Joint Services operations would we have heard that drugs or guns were planted on him?

6) Will supporters still defend his alleged criminal fight when he is allegedly deeply rooted in criminal activities and wanted by international agencies - Interpol and the USA? When he is declared as a drug lord by the USA and a national security risk to Guyana and Suriname?

7) Will Roger Khan’s defenders and supporters protest his right to innocence until proven guilty by a court of law?

8) How did Khan’s alleged crime fighting impact on the actions of the “Black clothes police” and how does it relate to the death of Assistant Commissioner Fraser?

9) Did the “criminals” who Roger Khan fought represent a rival criminal enterprise?

10) Which other Guyanese businessmen were involved in &#x201Cbusinessman” Roger Khan’s &#x201Ccriminal crime fighting operations.?”

11) Which other Guyanese businesses and businessmen and women are laundering criminal wealth and putting up a legitimate front to cover criminal enterprise?

12) Were the kidnappings, killings of the past similarly engineered by Khan, his associates or other criminal enterprise seeking to do as Khan did when he and his supporters put a political twist to crime and blamed the PNCR, the Police Commissioner and Joint Services operations for trying to overthrow the government?

13) Will Khan be held accountable for kidnappings and extrajudicial murders of scores of persons during the period he alleged he was fighting crime?

14) Will Khan ever be found guilty of any offence in the courts of Guyana?

15) Lastly, did the Commissioner of Police have to leave the country to speak with his U.S. and Surinamese counterparts without the fear of being taped?
