Ministry of Tourism and Hits and Jams collaborate again to promote Mashramani

Georgetown, GINA, January 28, 2004

The Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce and the privately operated Hits and Jams entertainment entity have once again collaborated in this year’s Mashramani celebrations. Last year, they joined together and created a Mashramani float.
This year, the Ministry and Hits and Jams will have several joint activities on their Mashramani agenda, leading onto the February 23 event.
At a media conference on January 29, 2004, a brochure, outlining upcoming activities will be launched.
The Ministry has been encouraging Government/private sector collaboration with several cultural activities, the most recent being the Main Big Lime on December 28 last.
