THE twice-postponed GTM Under-19 50-over cricket competition will now be played from next week Tuesday.

Guyana Cricket Board (GCB), yesterday, released the new dates for the one-day series which was first delayed for two days, then postponed, last week Tuesday, because of the inclement weather.

The matches were rescheduled for this week and were again postponed as more rain drenched the coast.

In round one on Tuesday, Essequibo will meet Demerara under umpires Rafik Latif and Wazir Dhanraj with Joseph Jeffrey as standby.

Round two will be staged the following day with Essequibo returning to the field of play to face Berbice. The umpires will be Gavin D’Aguiar and Roshan Moakhan and the standby Dhanraj.

Demerara and Berbice will clash in round three with Jeffrey and Clement Brusch officiating, with Zabir Zakier the standby.
