A number of youth and church groups and other organizations have planned a community march against violence against women and children this weekend.
Organizers of the march said it is primarily to educate and prepare the East Bank community to deal with the problem of violence against women and children.
It will also address matters of sexual abuse and rape.
The parade will leave Mc Doom Gas Station and head south along the public road, then east into Brutus Street, Agricola to converge on the Evan Phillips Park.
The March will begin at 15:30hrs on Sunday February 29.
