Mash masquerade competition this weekend

Georgetown, GINA, February 13, 2004

The Mash Masquerade competition will be on at the Fort Wellington Secondary School Ground Sunday at 12 noon.
Eight Bands will be competing in the categories adult flouncer, juvenile flouncer, junior flouncer, mad bull, mother sally, stilt dancer, other images, musical rendition, fife, boom, kittle and steel.
There will also be a competition for best band.
Bands from Regions Two, Three, Four, Five and Ten will be competing.
The masquerade is a new addition to the Mash itinerary in an effort to preserve the art form.
Admission to this competition is free.
